The CCS700 Ultro Discussion System is suitable foruse in meetings and conference venues with a limitednumber of participants.The Control Unit (CU) is the heart of the CCS700 UltroDiscussion System and supplies the power for alldelegate and chairman units in the system. The unitalso controls the chairman and delegate unitmicrophones, as well as providing interfaces forexternal audio equipment. The CCS700 discussionsystem is a plug and play solution for the audioconference requirements.

Discussion control

The CCSE-CU(CU) supports almost any kind of smallor medium meeting. For business discussions andsmall conferences, two to six microphones can beactive simultaneously, with the chairman always havingspeaker priority.The active microphone selection knobon the rear panel can be used to select the number ofactive participants. Unused microphones are switchedoff automatically after 65 seconds if delegates forgetto switch off their units

Supplies power for up to 50 Discussion units

The CU has two trunk outputs for the loop throughconnection of discussion units. It is possible toconnect a maximum of 25 discussion units to eachtrunk output in open loop configuration.Maximumtrunk length supported by CU is 100m in open loopconfiguration. For closed loop configuration with 50discussion units the loop length can be extended upto200meter. A maximum of 50 discussion units can beconnected to a CU.

Better sound

The conference controller has a 3-band equaliser fortuning sound output of the system.This helps inquickly tuning the system to compliment the hallacoustics at different venues.This ensures optimumperformance at all times.

Audio Interfaces

The CU can be interfaced with different type ofdevices like external audio recorder,soundreinforcement system,external microphones andexternal music player.The headphone output on thefront of the CU can be used by a secretary for takingthe minutes of the meeting, the headphone outputalso has a volume control knob to adjust the volume ofthe headphone.To support external participants (during town-councilmeetings, for example), extra microphones in any style(wired, wireless, handheld or podium) can beconnected to the system through mic inputs.
